Procurement Specialist
Key responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with existing vendors
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT products and services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, prices, and emerging technologies
- Analyze and optimize costs associated with procurement without compromising quality
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of service and product quality
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documents
- Monitor and enforce contract terms, including delivery schedules and performance metrics
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that procured IT products and services meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with IT teams, finance, legal, and other relevant departments to streamline procurement processes
- Communicate effectively with vendors, ensuring clear expectations and timely issue resolution
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, and at least a year of experience in IT procurement
- Strong understanding of IT products and services
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in 1 C (8.3)
